Chelsea vs Burnley Betting
Thomas Tuchel is the new manager of Chelsea, and he started his time in charge with a 0-0 draw against Wolves on Wednesday. But it was a game that indicated that there’s more to come. Interestingly he dropped both Timo Werner and Mason Mount to the bench, and it will be fun to follow how he forms his starting line-up this weekend, after at least a few more sessions with the squad.

Current Table Position And Home & Away Performances
Burnley are on a crazy run of results where they started by beating Liverpool at Anfield last week, causing The Reds’ their first league defeat at home soil since April 2017, just to follow up with a 3-2 win against Aston Villa, after being both 1-0 and 2-1 down against Dean Smith’s men. Add to that, they won quite easily against Fulham in the FA Cup, and it’s an excellent run of result for Sean Dyche and his Burnley side.

Goals Markets Betting Preview
Tuchel’s arrival to Chelsea will mean a new style of play compared to Frank Lampard’s tactics, and even though Chelsea didn’t score against Wolves it was a “Blues” team that controlled the game with a huge tally of passes and possession. The problem is how to convert that into goal scoring chances.
Burnley will probably fancy their task of keeping Chelsea quiet on Sunday, and they will probably use the same template as against Liverpool. Sit deep, defend tight and just hoof the ball away. And repeat.
Tuchel went with Olivier Giroud against Wolves, and he could be a useful pick in this game as well. But I think he’ll need the feet of Mason Mount as well, against a side that are so comfortable in defending deep.
We want to see more from Chelsea before we make any big predictions. But a low scoring (0-0?) first half wouldn’t be a big surprise here.
After a goalless game against Wolves and even though we fancy Burnley to cope quite good against Chelsea we think the injection of a few days with Tuchel should have some effect over the 90 minutes at The Bridge on Sunday. We think it’s worth looking at the Chelsea victory and we believe they’ll fight their way to three points while also keeping a clean sheet. So Chelsea to win to nil is what we’re looking at here.
