Michigan Online Gaming Market Gains Lightning Box’s Content

Lightning Box, slots specialist provider, has debuted in the newly regulated Michigan online gaming market via its distribution partner SG Digital.

In the first wave of releases, the developer has released three of their most popular slots with casino operators BetMGM, Golden Nugget and Rush St: Lightning Horseman, Chicken Fox and Lightning Leopard.

A Significant State

Lightning Box already went live in Pennsylvania in November 2020. They have been featured with online casinos in New Jersey via Amaya since 2014. This is where they gained a good reputation among US land-based operators for developing reliable content.

Lightning Box’s co-founder and CEO, Peter Causley, said that he is pleased the company met the Michigan’s requirements with more countries looking to legalize online gambling.

“Michigan is a significant state, not only due to the size of its potential audience but because of the importance of its tribal gaming community. It may well prove to be something of a case study across the rest of the country as a result.

We have earned our spurs across social, land-based and online casino in the U.S. now, as well as across the border in Canada, and we’re excited about the other opportunities opening up.”

Michigan Greenlights NetEnt

NetEnt has recently entered the market of Michigan with the idea of operating with several brands.

They will launch a selection of established games such as Blackjack, Divine Fortune and Starburst, that have been popular with players for years now.

NetEnt’s commercial director Jeff Millar said that this successful launch is the result of months of planning and company’s grounded experience on American soil.

He added: “We are poised to add more operators in all US markets during 2021 and have a roadmap of high-profile game launches. And, as we’ve once again shown, we’re ready for new markets being switched on and partnering casinos to offer a standout product to their players the minute they go live.”
