partypoker MILLION Gets a Revamp

partypoker MILLION Gets a Revamp

Look at the partypoker tournament lobby under the partypoker MILLION filter and you’ll see our flagship tournament has undergone an overhaul. Its $215 buy-in remains the same and it’s juicy $1 million guarantee is still there for all to see, but now it’s simpler and has higher quality Day 1s.

The partypoker MILLION is still a multi-day event but it now, following feedback from our players, only has one Day 1 per day. You’ll also notice the partypoker MILLION Final Day is now on Monday evening instead of Sunday and that the tournament is played with real names displayed.

Each of these seven Day 1s shuffles up and deals at 18:30 BST (19:30 CEST) and has a buy-in of $215. Everyone sits down with a generous starting stack of 1,000,000 chips and plays to an improved blind structure that starts at 5,000/10,000/1,000a. The blinds increase every 20-minutes, an increase from the 10-12 minute blinds of the old tournament, which give you more room to manoeuvre and more time to shine. It’s how a poker tournament should be.

Day 1s end after the completion of the 20th level. You progress to Monday’s final with your stack in tow. Not happy with your chip count and think you can improve it? Jump into another Day 1 and try again. Remember, you only take your largest stack through to the final day if you progress more than once.
