The Grade 3, $250,000 Molly Pitcher Stakes will run as Race 14 on the July 18 card at Monmouth Park.
The event for 3-year-old and up fillies and mares will cover 1 1/16 miles and include names like She’s a Julie and Queen Nekia among the field of 11.

She’s a Julie, Queen Nekia
Trained by Hall of Famer Steve Asmussen, She’s a Julie is one of the most accomplished runners coming into the race.
The 5-year-old son of Elusive Quality has a career record of 7-2-4 from 19 starts with earnings of $1,187,880.
He was victorious last time out in the June 13 Ogden Phipps Stakes (G1) at Belmont Park. He also finished sixth in the May 23 Shawnee Stakes (Black Type) at Churchill Downs.
In 2019, he finished fourth in the Oct. 6 Juddmonte Spinster Stakes (G1) and ninth in the Aug. 24 Personal Ensign Stakes Presented by Lia Infiniti (G1) at Saratoga.
She’s a Julie will break from post 1 under Jose Ferrer.
Ken Copenhaver’s Queen Nekia is coming in as one of the top runners as well. The 5-year-old son of Harlington is trained by Saffie Joseph, Jr.
His career record is 8-5-7 from 26 starts with earnings of $318,758.
Queen Nekia finished sixth last time out in the June 27 Added Elegance Stakes (Black Type) at Gulfstream Park. He also finished back in tenth in the April 18 in the Apple Blossom Handicap (G1) at Oaklawn Park, third in the Feb. 15 Royal Delta Stakes (G3) in the Gulfstream Park, and first in a Jan. 16 allowance optional claiming race at Gulfstream as well.
He will break from post 6 under Nik Juarez.
Trained by Brad Cox, the 4-year-old daughter of Jump Start will also be part of the field.
She has a career record of 5-5-2 from 16 starts with earnings of $221,414.
Last time out, the filly finished second in the June 17 Obeah Stakes at Delaware Park. She also took third in the May 23 Shawnee Stakes (Black Type) at Churchill Downs and fourth in an April 30 allowance optional claiming race at Oaklawn Park.
Vault will break from post 5 under jockey Mike Smith.
